How does passwordless registration work?
Registration uses a device-held signing key instead of a password. Your device creates an Ed25519 keypair, keeps the private key locally, and sends the public key to Gua Finance. The server stores the public key so future challenges can be verified without storing or checking a password.
How do I log in without a password?
Login starts with a fresh challenge from the server. Your device signs that challenge with its private key, and the server verifies the signature against your saved public key. If the signature is valid, the dashboard issues a session token for the signed-in account.
What is key rotation?
Key rotation lets you replace the public key attached to your account when you move to a new device or refresh your local signing key. The rotation flow proves control of the account before the server accepts the new public key. Once rotation completes, future logins use the new key.
What is the Transfer OTP and the 24-hour cooldown?
A transfer request sends a one-time passcode to the account email so account access can be moved safely to another device. Transfer requests are rate-limited: after a request starts, there is a 24-hour cooldown before another transfer request can be started for the same account. This slows down repeated attempts and gives the account owner time to notice unexpected activity.
What account types are available?
Basic is free. Basic accounts can register, log in, manage the account, and use the free areas of the platform. Premium is a paid subscription tier that unlocks premium reports, Gua service access, and other privileged platform features.
How are premium subscriptions different from credits?
A premium subscription is the Stripe-powered recurring access tier. Credits are separate add-on value used by premium users for eligible premium-only services, such as Gua service credit spend. Credits are separate from the Stripe subscription payment gateway: their purpose is to support business partners and contracted arrangements, rather than provide an unrestricted public checkout rail for arbitrary users.
Can I buy credits without Premium?
Credits are designed for features that require premium user privileges. A Basic account may remain free, but credit add-ons are only useful when the account has the premium access needed to use the corresponding premium-only services.
What is the 48-hour refund policy?
Gua Finance supports a 48-hour refund review window for eligible platform purchases made through the Gua Finance platform. Refund eligibility may depend on the account, purchase record, subscription state, payment status, and platform rules. Payment processing, charge reversal, dispute handling, and the ultimate payment decision rights are reserved by Stripe.com and Stripe's applicable policies.
